As I said, I didn't make an opinion about. I just can see why they might ban it. But as I said I wouldn't call it burqa ban directly then

Because they live in the Western World. We've some values and standards, which don't fit with the Islamic ones. And speaking about freedom, a burqa is the top-sign of non-freedom. Its absolutely against the ideal of free women in our society. On top of that, it's important and normal to see somebody's face in our world. Especially considering the fact that we live in a world with an enormous Islamic terror threat. If they want to wear a burqa: fine,  but take your stuff and leave as fast as you can.

I think they should be banned in certain areas; banks etc similar to how wearing a helmet or balaclava isnt permitted in specific areas. My opinion isn't due to a relation to terrorism as most arent committed by those who wear them but more so as a means of identity. It's been discussed several times in the UK and it usually leads to a divide in opinions.

Non freedom? How?

If a woman chooses to wear a G string or a burqa, she's free. As long as she is the one who is choosing then that's fine.

And do you really think that the majority of these women has so much freedom that they can make their own decisions? A burqa is a sign of women-slavery, women who stand under their partners, women who haven't the same rights as men in their culture. 

Thinking that Islamic women are free in making their own decisions, is a big fantasy.

That logic could also be used to criticize woman who wear short skirts and said its a sign of woman-salary because woman are seen as sexual objects and who stand under the sexism and capitalism of the western world

There are white Western convert women who are not even married, they decided to wear niqabs on their own and they still work or study and they're productive members of society. It has nothing to do with slavery. Just shut up.

Since a lot of things happened, there should be some rules.

If women from whole world can respect their laws and culture and cover themselves when they visit middle eastern countries, I don't see problem why their women wouldn't respect our laws...

I am not against some scarf that will cover their hair. Just make your face visible and wear "normal" clothes.

I'll just leave this here.  

I myself am from a muslim country and I know for a fact that most women wearing burqas feel the exact same way.

One point that stood out to me was -

"And actually in Islam we are required to show our identity when we are in a court system giving testimony"

Even Islam acknowledges that there are some situations where identification is necessary.. but they're not taking away the whole right to wear a burqa because of it.

 

Some other videos I thought were interesting.. they're more about hijabs but they still shed some insight regarding the matter.

It's really funny to see that somebody who is referring to freedom tells me to 'shut up', how ironic. Listen honey, I will never close my mouth for people, especially not for people who don't even understand my point and need to take my points and opinion out of their context, to make up their own nonsense.

'Cause if you read more carefully, darling... you would have noticed that I'm talking about one specific group: Islamic women who are living in Western European countries. We all now that the majority of them are subordinated to their own men, because they live a life based on their religion, which treats women as less human beings.

How is requiring a burqa related to freedom? No way! It's just slavery. You know that in countries like Dubai women are not allowed to drive or to walk on the streets by their own? You know that they can't have the discussion we have right here? Because if they would talk to you, like I do -  pleading for our Western values and standards - they get smashed in their faces, or they end on a burn pit. 

That's the hard reality. And those burqa-wearing women in Dubai and elsewhere in the Middle East also reflect the situation here in Europe. Fortunately, they have better lifes than there. But they are still not free! Those, Islamic women don't know the word 'freedom' if they wear a burqa.
