You think he was unlucky to get a bone spur at the time and I find it lucky that he came away with just that and ended up becoming an eventual billionaire while most never made it, got maimed, or got stuck with post traumatic stress disorder to haunt them. I was referring to the party as a whole: the FPÖ has 38 of the 183 seats in the Nationalrat, which is "nowhere near a majority", like I said. I do find it distressing that someone like Hofer gets as much support in the presidential election, but the difference with Trump is that Hofer actually is a politician. He has been an advisor in the party, a city council member and a deputy regional chairman. He is also the Third President of the Nationalrat. Trump hasn't filled a single political seat anywhere. He is in no way a politician. I find it more logical that people support a politician than a deranged businessman. You will never please everyone. But anyway, this just proves that he doesn't carefully think things through, he is sloppy in his articulation, and is a loose cannon that says what is on the top of his head at any given moment, which could really get us into hot water down the road. Perhaps he did mean to "start a revolution" and for people to protect their amendment rights.... ok, then say it like a politician. Oh yeah, he's not a politician. (Protect 2nd amendments rights from what though... this country has more guns than people, but that's a another argument). His little shenanigans may have been cute in the real estate game and his reality TV show, but simply won't and shouldn't work as leader of a nation.
