I actually do agree with this conpletley. I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

And in my age group, Cher and David Bowie aren't known enough for my taste. It was heartbreaking last January when I was all sad and asked people if they heard about Bowie's death, and they were just answering "who?". EDIT: Oh OK like pop artists from right now? I stick with Cher, and I also agree with Ariana. Dangerous Woman is a much better album than her previous ones, and it's now that she is starting to struggle. Very weird. Wait, how old are you? Roman 2,860
Wow, no one has mentioned Marina and the Diamonds yet? That girl is a damn Greek goddess, literally, and she never got to Billboard 100... mdr

ReidOne 12,427
Back OT... I don't really feel like Ariana is underrated at all. If anything, I feel like she is overrated. She is one of the most high profile women of pop music in 2016 in the US. Everyone knows who she is, and is aware of her music. They just aren't into it. Because overall, the music itself is... not that good. And the proof is in the pudding... her current single "Into You" is FINALLY her f-cking BOP that should be lighting the charts on FIRE (yes, even in the US!! Because the hooks are amazing and the production is relevant to today's sound). But it's not taking off because people don't like her and they know that she's not the real deal. A great vocalist? Yes. A good person? Not sure. An artist? Definitely not. A song like "Into You" could've sounded just the same being sung by Jennifer Lopez (and it prob would've become the hit it deserved, tbh). This does make me sad for her, though. She has a talent that should not be overlooked. In a different time (such as the early 90's), someone like Ariana would have been able to become a megastar simply because of their incredible voice and gorgeous image. If she had come into fame during that time, she would be a megastar. No question. But it's a different game today. And you have to succeed in many arenas outside your talent and what the record label can secure for you. And public perception is extremely important, and it seems that folks just don't really like her or relate to her? And thus, she has not been given very many timeless bops by the record producers.
