You can not compare those two songs. 'SS' is "flavor of the month", 'EOG' is pretty much "80's throwback" so of course it's gonna sell more, and Nicki has transitioned into a singles artist this era. :coffee:

POM has really low singles sales for being a #1. The same with HIAM, it also sold about 1.5 million in the US.

POM has really low singles sales for being a #1. The same with HIAM, it also sold about 1.5 million in the US.

Most songs that debut at #1 have little longievity (e.g. PoM, HIAM, WAWWA). Even BTW was only in the top 10 for 9 weeks, and 3.7M sales are less than you would expect for a song that was #1 for 6 weeks
