Ozzy8923 9
*Lets all say hello to the HIGHEST EARNING FEMALE MUSICIAN IN THE WORLD in the past year! *(Charts helped with this.) * Bow to her godly presence. $58 million dollars b---hes..... But Gaga did AMAZING as well and I bow to both of them. I find it ironic how Brit is quite lazy and not really a try-hard and the other pop girls ALL earned less than her working their asses of and stressing themselves. 00000000 1
Yet another crappy, boring video from Nicki. Wish somebody would buy me a car. This is like a failed attempt at recreating a mix of Moment 4 Life and Right Thru Me. What is her label even doing? :wtf:
Americano 31,061
Britney Spears has a lot of lucrative business endorsements that she has to do nothing for, though. The label handled most of the album marketing, she has perfume deals that are already sealed, she also gets royalties for radio play abroad from her older songs that have already been out, etc. Lady Gaga will probably surge to #2 next year, behind Madonna. (Thanks to her tour) Wish somebody would buy me a car. This is like a failed attempt at recreating a mix of Moment 4 Life and Right Thru Me. What is her label even doing? 00000000 1
Lady Gaga will probably surge to #2 next year, behind Madonna. (Thanks to her tour) I kinda hope Gagz beats her, but M's tours always cash in and she's gotten much more airplay/sales than Gaga in the last 5 months. Maybe LG will put out a smash single and it's slayage last 6 months like Poker Face. That'll never happen though. :ohno: Edited May 17, 2012 by ghettogoth77

Arturo 40,746
Right By My Side at #122 Let's see how the video affects it in 24 hours. Now that Nicki released all of the videos for her 3 Official singles (SS, RBMS, BITT) we can now wait and see her next single choice. It's either Va Va Voom or Pound the Alarm.. 00000000 1
Don't doubt Gaga. For some reason I only see her getting lots of consistent Bad Romance/Edge/BTW sized success in singles but no more Poker Face sized success in her singles. But who knows. Plus I'd rather her be like that than like Riri and have one big hit and struggle to keep the rest of her era afloat.
Americano 31,061
If Gaga has another runaway hit with her next single, it'll be safe to say she's cementing herself in as a future pop legend. Not to jinx her, but 4 blockbuster eras in a row would be undeniable. 00000000 1
And Madonna.. airplay... Lol, well just GMAYL got airplay, but probably more than MTN got this year... Then again if you add the airplay You and I and EOG and Bad Romance still get, it may come close to GMAYL. At least in NC. :hor:

Pound The Alarm is so similar to Starships/WHYB. Same songs over and over. It's like all the labels see a trend and TACKLE it. Especially desperate artists like Nicki... aka turning a hip-hop album into some sort of knock off club album. :wtf:

I think BR is at the level of PF in terms of success if you ask me. If not higher, that song and it's video have been basically critically acclaimed by fans and critics alike and this song cemented her place in pop culture and truly displayed to the word the songwriting AND vocal abilities of Lady Gaga, something PF failed to do imo. The song doesn't have the impressive vocals and songwriting that BR does and I believe it IS her signature song along with BTW. Also, Rihanna has shown zero consistency with her singles performance this era. Gaga at least managed to have 3 well-performing singles from the album consecutively and got a good amount of pop airplay (BTW #1 on Pop Songs, EOG #3, and Y&I #7). Also, with radio overall she did very well BTW reached #1 on Radio Songs, EOG #4, and YAI #12.
