Valentino 4
Lady Gaga will continue to model her superstar career off of past icons, and Madonna can remain pressed. I always randomly kick in and out of stan mode with Gaga. lol Oh really? 52. Americano 31,061
Oh really? I'm always super critical of Gaga, but I'll defend her like crazy when another act shades her work. Esp when it's somebody that was relevant a decade+ ago.

Ozzy8923 9
I criticize Britney sometimes too, but I always go back and listen to all of her albums and let the little things go by. The same with Gaga. The music always reminds me of why I stan for an artist.
Ozzy8923 9
I hope one day Gaga makes a REALLY mystical and magical song like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gssH923h9W8&list=FLCEvQKmhFziosD9I8jRNtyA&index=3&feature=plpp_video Should of been on an album.
00000000 1
She is acting well below her age. For the most part, Madonna was smart to choose dead people to rip-off, but the ones who were still alive weren't too thrilled with her either. Example - Horst P. Horst, the photographer who inspired her "Vogue" music video, was angry with Madonna for ripping off his work and not crediting him. Ironically, this is the same music video that people accused Gaga of ripping off with Alejandro. Lady Gaga continuing to make headlines with the Jakarta concert; E! News, GMA, hell, even my local news has reported on it. so much Gaga promo, :notsure: not sure if it will benefit her or not.
Americano 31,061
so much Gaga promo, :notsure: not sure if it will benefit her or not. Well, everyone is siding with Lady Gaga in both instances.
Ozzy8923 9
Well, everyone is siding with Lady Gaga in both instances. That's the best part about it. Gaga literally has to do nothing to get promo and she still wins. I think 2012 has been one of the weirdest years for Gaga. She has gotten tons of promo w/o having to anything and her contemporaries are all going in very messy directions while she is simply slaying on tour. I LOVE IT. She's always better off when she doesn't try as hard. 2010 was quieter for her versus 2009, but she slayed. 2012 is quieter versus 2011, but she's slaying. It's because the hard promotional work from the year prior pays off the following year, in terms of high ticket sales due to the viewers from her TV performances in that year before impacting the tour the next year. My dad worked near where that happened, I hope he doesn't get his face eaten off by a zombie. Exactly. I used to think all that promo was useless since sales in many countries were not improving but I realize now how useful those 6-7 months of excessive promo were.
