Hot 100 blast from the past:

Here's one of my favorite songs of the 60s. It's the Shirelles 1961 hit "Mama Said".

The song peaked at #4 on the Hot 100 during their peak in the early 60s. The Shirelles are credited as being the first all female group and first African American girl group to top the Hot 100 with their 1960 single "Will You Love Me Tomorrow?". Their next sinlge, "Dedicated to the One I Love", peaked at #3, then Mama Said at #4 and a few flops after that. They then returned in 1962 with Hot 100 chart topper "Soldier Boy", but after that they flopped out of existence. They had a good run and 6 top 10's throughout their career. :legend:

i cant believe there is going to be a btw album download day...i know btw didnt do as well as the fame, but the fame and the fame monster was mixed with many sales which is why it is high, and the album is more commercial. It's just the way it is haha.
