VFD 57
Not gonna lie, I don't think Gaga does Judas any justice in the BTWB. It's my favorite song by her and she doesn't even perform it in full. That's my only complaint about the tour. I hate how she cuts many great segments of songs she has never performed fully (HU second verse, Americano outro, FOHL bridge). I'd understand it if it was only for those she has already performed many times. Born This Way got rather stale and that was #1 for weeks. Charts don't mean **** about song quality tbh I wasn't talking about quality. It's undeniable that the general public didn't get bored of WFL, whether it is a good song or not. I think the live band instrumental + the set of Judas on the BTWB is really amazing. Have you seen the full video, where she gets kidnapped and the black guys starts dancing to a tribal beat. I loooooved it ! Thought she really struggle dancing while singing that song (it's hard to sing). But I agree, she shouldn't cut some parts. With time, I think she'll definitely sing it in full. She's getting so much better in matter of days, imagine after months.

Americano 31,061
Same lyric on loop over a generic beat. Catchy, I've gotten hammered to it and sang along. Good music? No

Still, I think WFL has a fresh sound that wasn't really used on top 40 radio. Really euro dance. I remember when it was out everybody thought it was too soft dance to hit the radio. boysboysboys 278
I hope Gaga doesn't repeat this tomorrow. I actually like it :yell: I mean, it's utterly alien-looking, yeah.

boysboysboys 278
Really? I wonder what their fan base will think of this sell out type move. Maroon 5 Aim for Dance-Floor Domination on New LP "Jagger," co-written by hitmakers Benny Blanco and Shellback, was Maroon 5's first experience with outside writers. When they returned to the studio last fall, they brought back Blanco and Shellback and hired dance-pop king Max Martin, the man behind hits by Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson and Katy Perry, as Overexposed's executive producer. "Sometimes a co-writer will write something that's almost better than what you would do, and it's like, '****!'" says Levine. Adds Valentine, "Up to now, we've been insulated from the pop-industrial complex. We've been like, '**** you, we're a band.' But now, stepping into this new world of songwriters and producers, it feels fun." boysboysboys 278
I think WHYB is loads better lol, we disagree completely They're both so incredibly generic, I find it weird that no one in the industry has called her out. Same with Starships. Edited May 8, 2012 by boysboysboys
