The meaning of the phrase "Living legend" should be revised. :coffee: Real legends don't ruin their own legacies and focus desperately on sales.

Yes that explains why she didn't promote after the Superbowl...at all. Conversely, Gaga must be REALLY desperate for sales because she went on every tv show across the globe for months and discounted her album. Right?

Madonna is a living legend though. You know it, I know it, it's plain as bread. MJ, Whitney, Elvis, etc. fell, often very publicly, and they were still considered walking legends. :)

For the first time in ages, it's mostly male artists that are slaying. There's only song in the top 10 of iTunes that's by a female lead artist at the moment (well two if you count Bieber :teehee: ). We Are Young and Somebody That I Used to Know are the main songs slaying.

Yas! Bring back the males. Waiting for this female reign to go away tbh. :nails:

Is anyone else sick of hearing Paradise?

Coldplay is really grinding my gears with that song.

On topic: Do you guys think she could ever top that era if she decided to come back to top 40 radio? I know she's back with No Doubt but I don't think she/they'll be pumping out "hits."

I like Gwen, but it's a no.

Of course, she'll still slay. ;)

She didn't promote after the Superbowl because it hardly did anything for GMAYL and she knew anything she put out next would make her look desperate. And no, that discount was to Gaga's debit.

That song is terrible tbh. But then again, I think almost all of what's on radio is terrible anyway so... :awesome:

I think she needs to not be all dance for her next album. It doesn't really feel like her anymore with the party songs. She looks so fresh here just being herself:
