For the first time in ages, it's mostly male artists that are slaying. There's only song in the top 10 of iTunes that's by a female lead artist at the moment (well two if you count Bieber ). There's only song in the top 10 of iTunes that's by a female lead artist at the moment (well two if you count Bieber ). We Are Young and Somebody That I Used to Know are the main songs slaying. I saw him on the TV yesterday and I did a double take, he for sure looks like a lesbian. I really can't get that out of my head now. Poor Beaver! I know she's back with No Doubt but I don't think she/they'll be pumping out "hits." I think the sweet escape era was definitely her peak. 4 in the morning, the sweet escape, and wind it up were all huge. I don't see her topping that.
