I think what makes it sad and summertime sadness like is the slow and mellow tone to it. Album Version > Edit Version.. This album is flawless by the way, like we all didn't know that already! :) but you don't get the reason for a radio edit...it's so it could make the song more pop (or appropriate for radio). I didn't think tracks actually go remixed that often for radio, I thought they were just remixed for track-length/censoring of words etc. I think most of us get the purpose for a radio edit, I just think some of us aren't really interested nor do we care for them.. Atleast I don't. :) I agree. The album version is the original, and the radio edit is a piece of promotion specially catered to what execs think people want to hear/what will $ell most.
