StrawberryBlond 14,261
Assuming it's true, I don't think she'll ditch it all...more likely she'll just naturally tone it down. Like she has recently. Less costumes, more fashion. I'm totally cool with conceptual outfits and 'out there' theatrics, but I do agree that pulling meat dress/vessel stunts should probably be shelved for now. We've had them, they were were awesome, but she either has to keep topping herself and become almost a parody...or just leave it. Maybe she's in a transitional period and the next era will have a noticeable change (for non-stans)? Yeah. That stuff is best reserved for the tour right now. I'd still like to see a outlandish outfit now and again but it definitely doesn't have to be the norm. I think she's realised that the world is currently in favour of the "less is more" approach after the hell of a year Adele had. There's been a rejection of the traditional pop star recently and that will not have slipped by Gaga unnoticed. She must have known that there would be a time when the public would get bored of her antics, albeit not quite so soon. If it can happen for Madonna, it can happen for her. The media blackout is a step in the right direction for winning back the public and she's now taking step two by wearing more "acceptable" clothes that look really flattering and feminine on her. I'm sure her next steps will be more toned down performances (the ones when not on tour, obviously), making a more public friendly album and dropping the cocky attitude about how her next album will be the best album of the decade. I think she'll get a much warmer reception with this plan. Ugh if the MTN fashion continues forever I'll die happy. Me too. I love her classy looks. I think she'll get a much warmer reception with this plan. I think it'll be good practise for her to try something different. She really would be cornering herself otherwise, constantly having to top the last stunt. Not even trying to be more outrageous than the meat dress/vessel is the best way out of that situation. Especially when you have the likes of Nicki and Katy desperately trying to out-do her, they'll look out of date and silly in contrast. There'll of course be people b---hing about it, but there'll be plenty of people praising her for evolving/being less gimmicky. It'll be interesting to see what Gaga will do next. I have a feeling it's going to be very glamorous and feminine, a lighter side of her to contrast with how dark and s-xyugly she was with BTW. If she were to debut the era at the 2013 Grammys, I'd love for her to walk the red carpet and simply look absolutely stunning (Gaga-stunning, not basic-stunning), with no stunts. It'd be a very clear message. Continue the less-is-more into the performance and boom, we have a notable era beginning. If she gradually moves into the era (no major lead performance/appearance) it may be too subtle.

Americano 31,061
I never really saw GH as a fan favorite. MTN/Scheisse/Judas seemed to be the top few. Or maybe even BM.
craig 680
That would be Scheiße Sonically I always considered GH and S to be sister songs. Wanted Scheiße as single just because I didn't think GH lyrics would go over on radio. Edited April 25, 2012 by craig
