(Along with the Grammys this year too. ) On the other hand though, it'll make people realise how empty it feels without her like it was at the Grammys. She had huge moments at the VMAs for the past three years and this year all they'll have to try and fill that gap is people like Nicki and Katy trying too hard. Even at the Grammys, when she was there, people still seemed to miss her presence. I don't know if people miss her. Well, no one I've heard misses her. Maybe location difference. It's just sad because if BTW had gone the way it was supposed to, she'd have more singles/videos to go off of going into award season. Many will likely not make the connection that Gaga was actually pretty entertaining and that she is what is missing from award shows etc. I reckon they'll realise it when she returns because suddenly there will be a lot of hype and attention surrounding her performances, videos, singles, album etc. It'll be good for her to skip the VMAs, and have an excuse for not attending so she doesn't look bitter. She'll have the casual voters for WFL and no massive fanbases to compete with. Well. Apart from the Beliebers if Boyfriend ever debuts. I'm not suggesting she kill herself with work, but she could put out a lead single then and promote a bit. 3 months later it's October (she'll be touring those months), and she could do a second single/album before the next leg of the tour for the holidays. During the VMA's she could be blaring on the radio etc., and kind of just hang over the program while she's away touring. Obviously this is extremely unlikely, but you never know with Gaga. I reckon Katy and Rihanna will get squeezed between fan votes for Bieber and One Directon andor them wanting to honour bigger and cooler smashes by Fun and Gotye.
