So what, it is still rock, and prove the point that rock got a place in Top 40, besides, nobody knows what kind of rock that Gaga will do. Also, I said those are some names, there are lotsa more rock musicians that been and still is in the Top 40 if you look up.

As rock are very vast today, it can be electro rock like she did with few tracks in BTW album, or even harder similiar to Prodigy music. 

Some of you people already deterred by the label even without listening to it, when Gaga always encourage her fans to be open minded with music and art in general. Lame tbh.

I think we already know it is not possible for her to do pure rock album without alienating half of her fanbase, she might do half and half or fusion of those genres and more.

All I can guess is, her next album might be more adult oriented because of Ronson producing it, but it will still catchy enough for young people to.jam.to

I think the "rock" issue does not necessarily point to a stereotyped idea of the genre. It's just the notion that Gaga is departing, sonically, from her EDM-roots, that she is getting back to the direction she was forced to quit after Born This Way. 

Remember how many fans were slightly turned-off by Born This Way when they first heard the music? There were too many people disappointed with the fact that no actual "sledge-hammering dance beats" were present on the record. They said that she did the same thing she did with "The Fame"; with the Fame, she showcased her admiration towards classic glam rock era of the early 70s, while with Born This Way she just switched to the next decade - the 80s with its disco and its classic rock music. It was dark, but not dark AND futuristic in the way The Fame Monster has been. 

Thus, so many were afraid that ARTPOP would feature heavy incorporation of the 90s music, instead of delivering "futuristic" sound, and it seems that, as Gaga was very closely communicating with fans during her BTW tour, somehow got the general idea of what the fans expected and tried to deliver that by creating music with rather underground DJs.

I suppose that with LG5 she's going to switch to her traditional model of composing an album. Gaga's most classic works were as progressive as they were reflective. It's just that her reinvention of the sonic traditions of the past was so creative, and the lyrics and melodies were very smart and beautiful that it sounded like something ahead of its time, when in fact it was rooted into the classic and the times when she was singing jazz since she was thirteen.
