I miss your threads and your posts. You've been inactive lately

Aww. Thanks.

Been in a missionary work lately and I'm more active in atrl since there are lots of active Arianators there and I enjoyed mingling with them. :)

Plus I feel like Grande doesn't bring much to the table other than talent, which we know in Pop music it doesn't mean anything. Gaga and Kesha brought that "party girl" vibe, Katy had sex appeal. Adele has music everyone can relate to, and Swift knows how to bring her personal life into her career.

I agree.

And, up until now, my primary problem with her was that she had no songs that made me bop. Sure, she's had plenty of decent tracks, but none that give me that truly over-the-top-orgasmic feeling that a good pop song does.

Until this one.

I don't understand!!! :yay:

The problem with her(pun intended) is that she still seems like a kid. She started out on a kid's network, and still is viewed as one, plus there are many things she does that proves this. She needs to take one or two years off from music to change her style.

How is top 20s and stable + still having time to rise considered "flopping so hard" :rip:

People don't get it, also the lack of media promo.

It's currently at its peak on the Hot 100... at #23!! What is happening?!

Don't get me wrong, I am not an Ariana Grande fan AT ALL (can't stand her, personally), but this song bops. It's a Max Martin jam. Why isn't it taking off?

Do people really dislike Ariana that much?

Good to know I'm not the only one who doesn't understand why it's not in Top10 and why it doesn't have more views

It's actually doing better each week it debuted somewhere in the 70 i think

Two reasons why it's not smashing

-It really really isn't radio friendly

-Her promo for the song is so meh, it could easily be pushed by more performances and TV appearances

Not quite sure what people mean by "not radio friendly" :toofunny:

But I'm sure it'll do fine. I just hope she ends up touring this album... I was expecting an announcement this summer but now I'm guessing it's going to be after the VMAs

Currently listening to Joanne

Same reason "Hung Up" by Madonna peaked at #7 in the U.S.......

I said it over a month ago but nobody wanted to listen. The public has had too much Ariana in 3 years. She needs a break between eras. Her three albums feel like one LONGASS era that won't end. Geez.
