Caesium 6,022
We'll be getting the VMA nominations within the next 2 weeks, but who do you think will be nominated in each of the main categories? In my opinion: Video of the Year Adele - 'Hello' Beyoncé - 'Formation' Drake - 'Hotline Bling' Justin Bieber - 'What Do You Mean?' The Weeknd - 'Can't Feel My Face' Best Pop Video Adele - 'Hello' Ariana Grande - 'Into You' Fifth Harmony - 'Work from Home' Justin Bieber - 'What Do You Mean?' Selena Gomez - 'Hands to Myself' Best Male Video Drake - 'Hotline Bling' Justin Bieber - 'What Do You Mean? Justin Timerblake - 'Can't Stop the Feeling!' Nick Jonas featuring Tove Lo - 'Close' The Weeknd - 'Can't Feel My Face' Best Female Video Adele - 'Hello' Ariana Grande - ‘Into You’ Beyoncé - ‘Formation’ Meghan Trainor - ‘NO’ Selena Gomez - ‘Hands to Myself’ There are a tonne of other categories but cba These are the most relevant ones Do you agree with me or have I snubbed any great videos from the past year? (I would love Lana to get a nom for HBTB but they pay her dust so I'm not expecting it) Put your white tennis shoes on and follow me

Didymus 34,379
Formation has to win big. And no, not because of its subject matter (alone), but just because it's absolutely expertly made from a technical standpoint It's the only good video in your entire list of noms tbh. But it's realistic, I fear.
Fiona Apple 13,006
If Hello wins a best video award I will never watch those award shows again.
Yuuri 21,636
I'd say Justin Bieber should/would have two nominations for "Best Male Video" one for "What Do You Mean" and "Sorry"(if it counts" Just now, Britney Spears said: If Hello wins a best video award I will never watch those award shows again. So much wasted potential 2 minutes ago, Misaki said: I'd say Justin Bieber should/would have two nominations for "Best Male Video" one for "What Do You Mean" and "Sorry"(if it counts" To be fair it was a pretty nice video I did think about Sorry but Justin doesn't even appear in the video, nor did he direct it, so I struggle to see how he could possibly be nominated when he had little involvement. Plus, the video is kind of sh*tty. He might snatch a couple of noms for it though. If he'd actually bothered to make proper music videos for Sorry and LY he would have had more of a chance IMO. 3 minutes ago, bionic said: TBH I don't feel that Formation will even be nominated (altho I think it deserves to win) I sort of think this too, but I reckon there would be uproar if it was ignored due to the subject matter that no other artist has touched upon in the past year, especially regarding current events, so hopefully they won't be stupid enough to snub it.
