I'm outside the US but I actually knew a fair amount of the policies that Bernie brought to the table. When it comes to Hillary and Trump all I seem to hear about is feuds and scandals and very little genuine talk about policies. Then you aren't paying attention. Look past the attention-grabbing headlines. Hillary is known as a policy wonk. She has always laid out very thoroughly her policies on issues. Donald, is a different story. He just throws out one-liners. I'm going to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it. LOL

The bigger the spectacle, the more juicy the scandal, the more views and money they get they've been beating her emails and Benghazi into the f*cking ground even though no one can prove she did a single thing wrong. Well, nothing illegal at least. Trump's a clown with no real policy so...that's the issue on his part. Though I guess we can finally talk about what Pence will bring to the table since Trump isn't interested in being in charge of foreign or domestic policy Yep that sums it up. Here in the UK there aren't any paid campaign advertisements (it's illegal) to prevent a bias to the parties with more money, and with the BBC being at the core of our media there aren't any political witch hunts like Hillary is facing because they have a duty to remain unbiased and unaffiliated with any political goal. So it just seems so unusual to me because of the difference the way things are handled. 11 minutes ago, PartySick said: Anyway, I hope you find her stances agreeable and spread the good word I found them quite good actually so far She is much more left then I thought she was. Not some 70 year olds that has been going through scandles for 40 years. Are country is going to be going nowhere the next 4 years regardless of who becomes president. If you think Hillary and Trump are the same, you need to start educating yourself on the platforms on which they run. Ideologically they couldn't be further apart. Plus, Trump is not fit to be President of the United States. He is a hate-monger. A lot is at stake. You will find that out if Trump gets into office. I shudder at the thought. A couple YouTubers I watch that are from the UK said it's like a black and white difference. I guess it's mainly because our media sources have so much competition, they do whatever they can to draw in more viewers. CNN, Fox, MSNBC, ABC, a million smaller outlets, all the local outlets that also talk about the big stories it's crazy. I'm glad FATCAT was onto something, she evolves through the years more than most. The U.S. is becoming much more progressive. I mean, a (democratic) socialist almost had a real clear shot to be president. That's huge! In response to that, and possibly to win over Bernie's supporters, she's moved much farther left than she used to be. It's a good thing. She'll continue to build on the foundation that Obama has laid down and continue our country's growth Whimsical bitch

I was just referring to how people/media seem to ignore any policies she puts forwards and care much more about the email scandal and Benghazi and can't seem to drop it. Likewise with Trump, even though he seems to have zero substance he has managed to build an image through the media that a lot of republicans are supporting and I find that scary

He offered Kasich the position of "the most powerful VP in history" meaning that he'd be in charge of all policy while Trump's in charge of "making America great again". Kasich, being the only serious GOP candidate this time around, refused so now we have to imagine Pence will get the same offer. So...women, gays, blacks, hispanics, muslims, prepare to become second class citizens to an even higher degree should Trump win Whimsical bitch

It sells newspapers and gets hits on the internet. But once the Presidential debates start happening, you will see that she will shine, focusing on her policies, and Trump will just be trying to goad her . But she's unflappable. Hillary has been taking hits for decades from the the good old boy network and gets back up every time. The woman has balls. She excels in debates and won't be sidetracked by Trump during them. The Republican Party is an embarrassment anymore and plays to the lowest common denominator. they should have learned from the last election, but have actually become even less inclusive to minorities and woman and LGBT rights, if that's possible. Their platform laid out at the convention even affirmed conversion therapy for gays. Seriously? They are in the dark ages and getting worse. The Republican National Convention this week has been a joke, like a bad reality TV show. Trump will need to pull off an amazing speech tonight to compensate, but I don't see it happening. Off script he repeats his one-liners and he's awful when on script reading from a teleprompter. I am so excited for the Democratic National Convention next week to finally hear some intelligent speeches about real issues.
