ApplauseftAdele 4,730 Posted July 21, 2016 Share Posted July 21, 2016 I've always been interested in the ARTPOP visual album concept and I always thought about what the era would be like with 15 music videos (). and Ive always thought of what each of the songs would look like as a video. So, if you could direct a music video off of ARTPOP, what would it be like? (Obviously stay in the ARTPOP theme, it shouldnt be too much of a stretch) Personally I would direct the Sexxx dreams music video. There would be 2 scenes, one with SeashellGa in bed but with leather studded bikini, kinda like her outfit @ David letterman. The sheets would be red to symbolize lust. Then, the second scene would take place in a bar with neon lights that say SEXXX and stuff like that and she would dance with her background dancers in the same choreo as teh ARTRAVE. She would have green hair & black outfit, just like artrave. The scenes would alternate as Gaga changes her voice in the verses, Venus being the singy one and the Bar scene being the raspy sexual voice. Maybe the Hand-Bra from Applause could return too Then at the climax (ending)the bedroom would have an explosion of feathers. I think the green hair would be a homage to some of the Medusa references in the lyrics Anyways, what are your guys ideas? Gaga in a dark room, one single spot light shining down on a large black piano, and she's dressed in tattered black, gothic-esque clothing with scars and bruises all over her body. When the chorus comes, the bass/synth kicks in, we see flashes of glitchy video showing that rotten grill, a dirty face, lots of tears, and at the very end when she's saying "I need you more...need you more...I need you more than dope", it's just the camera slowly (and slightly shaky) zooming in on her collapsed against a wall and staring into a black nothing 🧡The blindfold's off my eyes, all I see for me is better days🧡 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Similar to Applause and GUY videos. For Venus, I imagine Gaga having an orgy or a 1:1 between each God and they'll look like they're based off a card game or something. I imagine that the process of writing, recording, and producing was pretty difficult for Gaga, especially because the song's so personal to her. Maybe just her at the piano, similar to the YouTube performance, or maybe just recording her during the song writing process, just capturing the most emotional and impactful parts.
