Are you saying you still are "pro refugee"? All I meant was I got what Sycamore was saying. You've posted several negative news items about refugees before, and from your own remarks and the posts you liked in those threads it seemed that you had flipped in your stance about them, and about whether or not Germany should accept them. If that's not true, then that's not true, but I guess you can see that's the impression you create so maybe be mindful of that in the future then Just a disclaimer in your OP that you're not gunning for refugees, but are just discussing this specific news item is enough, really

I got out of it with a lot luck. So please don't. Did you apologize for Justin Bieber too ? I hope you did. It's been years since I am on this site and therefore aknowledge your existence and the way you think. And...yeah, I'd rather don't even listen to what you say or play along with your passive/agressive-Mr-Know-It-All attitude that I honestly can't bear. Either you're a very, very suggestible person or what I could call a dumb person with an extra load of prejudices. Thanks for the warning point by advance. It's not good for the refugees. There need to be more taken by other countries. Though this is also very difficult cause I don't know how safe they would be in e.g Poland. Honestly I think it's a bit of a too little too late situation. Like it or not, we (or our political leaders of the past) have contributed to the situations all those people are fleeing from right now (and the fact that we're still financing countries like Saudi Arabia, who we know pull several strings in favor of terrorist chaos is even worse). I think this idea that the refugee crisis is a new problem coming out of nowhere is holding back proper discussion about it. It's not new, and we should've seen it coming decades ago already but we did nothing. That doesn't offer a solution of course, but I dunno, maybe the discourse change will lead to new creative ideas for recovery. Most of all, we should be careful to not duplicate the actions that have co-caused this crisis, because we sure don't want the same thing to happen in the future once again. He's just joking it's funny how every year you radically change your opinion on the world. It's a good thing because it shows you are ultimately not blinded by what you believe in! Anyways. This thread is relevant because it shows a terrorist attack in Europe (all terrorist attacks get a seperate thread generally) and because it's the first terrorist attack by a refugee. It deserves its own thread, even if his intention is to show that he is right.
lego 44,165
Unaccompanied minor. There is issue with many them, they are kids living on the streets, easy prey for prostitution, human trafficking, other crimes and brainwashing. I read this last night, it's horrible, I hope all the injured will recover soon. This is the first time actual refugee was involved, but I'm ****ing tired to see exactly the same people posting and liking the posts like can you really blame people for not wanting refugees? like SHUT THE EFF UP. Every ****ing time when the assailant has foreign background, whether he's born in Europe or not, same group comes to paint all refugees with the same brush and spread their xenophobia. You are talking about the people who are running away from same and worse horror. Seems like some of y'all have guilty conscience or just want to promote your bigoted views. You never actually say anything on topic or worthy of reading. And no Simon, I wasn't talking about you. FreePalestine
monstereo 1,232
First time a refugee was involved in what? There have been plenty of rapes, murders, etc by refugees in past. (not too long ago even)

Guest
Thousands of refugees behave and live in a healthy symbiosis with their surroundings - no one pays any attention. One troubled teenage refugee goes mad - suddenly all refugees are dangerous. I guess we should ban each and every one of us then, since every group has committed terrible crimes one way or another. But on a more serious note, I don't think it's right to judge millions of people based on one mentally ill person's actions. He had to flee war on his own and endure loneliness all by himself, it's only natural that he would feel misunderstood and turn to dangerous beliefs sooner than later. If this were a pure (and I use that term loosely) German, media outlets would have labeled him mentally unstable and nothing would have been blown out of proportion. However, since he was a refugee, the people that weren't okay with refugees in the first place come out and tarnish all the other refugees' reputation. It's just sad.
