It's just a simple case of common decency and courtesy, we (hopefully) all apply that to our lives so apply it here.

First off, yes you did claim you knew how many WP's senior members get, in the very first sentence of your OP You have no way of doing that. I personally have 7 WP's, and I've never stopped gathering them over the years, so I know that's not true, especially since I've been getting warned for exactly the same things. I'm sure there are plenty of other members who've noticed similar things (and I personally know a good many senior members who got banned too, so..).

I get the frustration, but on the other hand, you don't really specify what you're talking about Context is a big deal when it comes to moderation, and when we don't have it, we can't just agree with you like this (I know that some people have, but they're being stupid).

I'd ask you to expand, but discussing moderation is against the rules I don't like all the rules either, but I did subscribe to them when I became a member, so I try to respect them nonetheless. You should do the same, or conclude that you don't want to, and leave, but I don't want you to do that 'cause I'd miss you so don't pls

I do agree with this though. This would remove sooo much uncertainty and complaining from everyone, and I actually think it would make the mods' job easier: reports won't keep flooding in ànd if a post is unwarned after a long time, there can be a helpful discussion about why it's not being warned, to hopefully discourage members from reporting WP-unworthy posts over and over again in the future

I think everyone can see that her talent is very limited, and if I say that I'd get a WP too! but anyway there's no reason to give me a WP for thinking something. I HATE SUSHI and a shushi lover will give me a WP.

There's a difference between stating you're getting the impression and stating members are getting special treatment though

I don't really buy that, I haven't seen anything of the sort. I think the most hateful members just dumb down their posts when they reach an alarming height of WP's and that's how they survive. I've also seen members like Jjang getting permabanned after a long history of users complaining that he got special treatment, which I know he didn't

But yeah, clearly this issue of everyone wanting to know more about moderation and how exactly it functions on this forum is in a lot of people's minds, so it would suck if nothing was done about it. I personally, too, am tired of hearing "we can't tell you what's being warned and what's not" over and over again, because I feel like my enjoyment of the forum is seriously upset when I'm left in the dark about certain users etc.

Well, I'm actually happy to see Katy hate is been getting warned apparently, 'cause for the longest time I thought nothing was being done about it

Tbh, those comments are always unnecessary unless someone directly asks you what you think of Katy Perry and how talented she is. What I see is Katy threads being filled with people discussing her lack of talent, and that discussion being completely unrelated to the OP, and that's when you guys get into trouble

There was a time when I was upset with moderators, but then I understood that they are different people, each with different degrees of tolerance. I also learned to construct better my comments and now I have not WP (well only 2)

Locking thread, but I will read the comments and suggestions here.   But if you have a complaint, please address it with the moderators rather than create a whole angry thread over what could have been a misunderstanding.
