She was living "comfortably" (meaning she wasn't on her normal fitness game) and her usual fashions weren't cutting it. So she turned up the volume on the over-the-top punk/goth look with dramatic makeup/hair, etc... This is not a read, just an observation.ย I felt like, while on trend, the looks themselves were a little sloppy and her heart wasn't really in it. Yes, it expresses a side of her personality, but the looks were not on point (because she was on autopilot, filling the void while she enjoyed life outside the spotlight for a minute).ย Hopefully that makes sense.
