The woman tapes her face. It's not a subversive aesthetic statement. She does it all wrong too - she'll age so badly unless she keeps it all up. She probably will keep it up but it'd be nice if she just got over it. She'd look better, and tbh younger. Her lips look fine when she doesn't overdo them but the fillers and stuff is just dumb.

To me it seems obvious that she is doing this on purpose, it seems to me like some artistic statement. There is a reason she is imitating these people, I think the question is fair to ask.

I actually think it's very interesting and I don't think it's a bad thing whatsoever. 

I mean this woman met Queen Elizabeth II dressed as Queen Elizabeth

She performed Cher's Bang Bang with her Cher like hair:

She went full on Bowie for her tribute

She went all Frank Sinatra for her Frank Sinatra tribute

She literally even wore Tony's suit on the C2C tour

I don't think there are any nefarious undertones to this, I don't think the intention is to rip anyone off or simply copy them. It's pretty blatant and I think it has some purpose. 

 

I couldn't agree with you more, hun!  It would be interesting to hear the real reason coming directly from Gaga, though.
