Goosey 3,017
A sickening woman. Just so you know some of the awful things this person has done: Under the new Investigatory Powers Bill announced by Theresa May the internet browsing history of everyone in the UK will have to be stored for a year and police and security services will be able to access the list of visited websites without any warrant. And how about this? Theresa May 'tried to alter drug report because she didn’t like its conclusions'. Theresa May and her aides attempted to delete sentences they didn't agree with from a report on drugs, the former deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg has claimed. The Liberal Democrat MP told the Guardian, the Home Secretary “didn’t like the conclusions” of a report released in 2014, which found no clear link between harsh drugs laws and illegal drug use. She also wants to scrap the Human Rights Act and withdraw from the European Convention on Human Rights: The Conservatives would consider leaving the European Convention on Human Rights if they won the 2015 election, the home secretary has said. Theresa May told an event organised by the Conservative Home site the party would also scrap the Human Rights Act. She said it restricted the UK's ability "to act in the national interest". "I am the world's greatest person that does not want to let people into the country."—US President Donald J. Trump
socotra 3,357
Interesting that Germany, the U.S., the U.K., Croatia, and Norway will all have female leaders.

May seems a lot more right-wing (on social policies anyway) than Cameron was . - Nothing surprising in her 'win' though, if it can even be described as that. In the words of Frankie Boyle - "The Tory leadership election is a sort of X Factor for choosing the antichrist", but she definitely seemed like the candidate that could at least deliver stability and she doesn't (publicly anyway) hold views as backward as Gove and Leadsom. She just seems more human than Cameron in my opinion. I have always liked May for some reason. Together You And I!
SamJ 8,008
I cant help but feel disappointed I wanted Andrea Leadsom to be PM, she had so much enthusiasm for the country's future, and she was the face of the winning campaign in the EU referendum, she is down to earth and explained everything well to the public without all of the confusing political jargon etc. But now we have Theresa may so we have to just put our trust in her and hope she delivers. Come on Theresa, Come on Britain!

Her comments about May was plain unneeded. I am glad she stood down. Together You And I!
