Why Christina Aguilera didn't tour for Bionic and Lotus?

Her music was pretty awful in my opinion. Stripped was her last good album and really the only album I enjoyed from her. She's just not my taste. She has no demand what so ever. When she released Bionic, Lady Gaga was already at her prime and Xtina was trying to go for this different more avant garde look especially in the not myself tonight video but people saw it as a desperation to look like lady gaga. Most importantly, people just didn't like the music. There was no way she could tour Bionic or Lotus because people were just not interested in Xtina Aguilera anymore. I think for now she should just continue to release albums and do a few performances at festivals here and there.

I don't think it would've helped. From what I've seen, you need a successful album to successfully tour (with the exception of those who are known as touring forces). The tour wouldn't have gotten much positive coverage, because from what was said, the tour was dragged due to poor ticket sales.

if I remember well, Bionic Tour was cancelled because the tickets weren't selling and for the Lotus Tour.... well... the Lotus era was a disaster from the start anyway

If she only promoted Bionic for a week, what makes you think she would tour?

She didn't even performed her first single off Lotus.

Plus, she doesn't want to do small venues but when you take such long breaks as she has during her career barely on the radar and not do promotion worldwide like she did with CA, Stripped, and B2B of course you're going to do small venues. It's better than anything. She probably think she's good for small venues. When no one even knows you have album nor care besides what's left of your fanbase that's what you do. It's better than staying at home.

the bionic tour was cancelled because christina was going through a lot around that time period. the media had turned against her, bionic had flopped, and some of you won't remember this but she announced she was getting divorced shortly after all of this, so her marriage was in shambles (we later found out they both had cheated in the marriage)...can anyone blame her for not touring?

She didn't tour for lotus because it flopped and she was over that album the day it was released.
