Nicki had some pop on her debut, I'll give you that but she didn't sell out to pop until her 2nd album, which by the way I don't like that either. She just used pop to get more fans and her career has suffered because of it. Be honest with your art or don't make it at all. I enjoy Brooke candy's new stuff but it just seems fake. Stop trying to put people into a box, it's unnecessary and obnoxious. Why does she have to be one or the other? People are going to do what they want to do. Obvi she's happy with what she's putting out and I've been more than happy to get a variety of genres from her. It would be amazing if the World just let people be popular when they released "Art from their Heart". But that hasn't been a working thing for the longest amount of time. There is no doubt Brooke is doing the Genre change for the views. But why is that a bad thing ? It's 2016, the industry is not some Happy Rainbow-ride. Gaga did the exact same, and it worked. You should be applauding Brooke for actually realizing the sad world we live in, Needs the work of a Snake, in order to make you break through.
