Morphine Prince 109,997
The Democratic bullies are at it again. I'm sure he will endorse her when the convention comes. He doesn't have to do **** when you want him to. He will do it when he deems fit. Also, he doesn't even HAVE TO endorse her if he didn't want to. I'm sure he will though. The Democrats mocked him for months and now want him to endorse their candidiate when they ask? Gtfo Democraps. **** you and your party. The only reason many of us vote Dem. is because it's the most progressive party of the only two major ones who can actually win and achieve something. Democrats are full of **** though. Don't bother to quote me. This is my opinion and I stand by it.

Also he has done his fair share of mocking so don't play him as some victim, especially when he was the one who initiated the hostility and he is the one that has consistently displayed hypocrisy regarding his supposed beliefs over the course of the election. Yet you continue to cover for him despite the fact that he's the one that has shown to operate on what "he deems fit" when it helps Bernie and Bernie alone. ------ It's fascinating how despite the fact that almost all 80% of my friends who were Bernie supporters (made for interesting conversations ) have shown resentment towards his recent actions, yet the same GGD members remain irrationally defensive of Bernie. He's not a saint and neither are any of the independent parties and their members. You painting the Democratic party as the "lesser of two evils" is frankly idiotic. It's the only reason you are a free gay man. It's the only reason you're not suffering under an economic depression. It's the only reason you have your freedoms as a Hispanic person. Reassess your position. I'm telling you this as a friend. Know your friends and don't hate institutions just because they aren't perfect. Edited just now by LebaneseDude. You can't "transform" **** without winning, not to mention that losing has a damaging negative transformation effect. Just look at the Bush and Reagan eras People (mostly the media) called the 15$ minimum wage and student debt solutions recently states as the Democratic goals as concessions to Sanders when they were in fact in Clinton's stump speeches since 2015 when Bernard was still at 9% popularity. What Sanders doesn't seem to realize is that the train has left the station. What influence he may have had by throwing in his lot with Hillary and working to get Democrats elected to Congress, he has lost by dragging his feet. All he's doing is inhibiting the healing process that comes naturally after a fierce primary. Not to mention he continues to waste taxpayer money (40$k a day) on Secret Service protections. Of course the usual GGD Bernie bots will cheer him on. Well now he knows how Hillary felt while all his supporters were constantly booing her during the primary debates! Smh Egypt. SKANK 14,288
If Democrats want to alienate the thirteen million of us who didn't vote for Hillary, this is how you do it. Booing a man who just said: “She won fair and square, right?” Blitzer asked. “Yep,” Sanders replied, before arguing his campaign is still politically important. Sanders has said he will vote for Clinton in the general election, but has not yet offered a formal endorsement of her campaign.

Wolf kept after him until he finally had to agree. It was like pulling teeth. Ninety two per cent of those thirteen million have already switched to voting for Hillary. The other eight per cent will probably vote Independent of not show up at all. This happens every election cycle. Most of the voters fall in line behind the party candidate. The rest will find someone else.

Second best hope is the Green Party or the Libertarian Party.

Oh I see Well I'm not going to tell you what to personally believe in, but despite all the idealism, hope ultimately means little if there is an insignificant chance of anything coming to fruition. With all his ideals, Bernie would have had to concede in almost every single position of his in order to get anything through congress and even then that's a long shot. Regarding the Green Party, they've done nothing to warrant hope. They're untried untested and essentially have contributed nothing of significance to the American sphere. Jill Stein has no credentials to fall back on and has proven to be incompetent when it comes to answering the most basic questions. I suggest you read up on the Libertarian Party as they hold many positions that you would presumably find abhorrent assuming you liked Sanders. They believe in privatization of all utilities and are purist capitalists in every sense of the word among other things. I personally have no qualms with Johnson, but to say the Libertarians are better than Democrats is pretty odd given your socialist inclinations. I would say the best hope would have been Joe Biden but he never ran so Edited just now by LebaneseDude.

I would say the best hope would have been Joe Biden but he never ran so Could've said the same thing to describe Abraham Lincoln and the upstart Republican Party at the start of the Civil War. He had been in Congress for 2 years and went onto become one of the greatest presidents in American history – without being a part of a major party (and granted there were special circumstances that allowed Lincoln to win on a non-major party, but still). We have two inherently different views of the world. While I agree that experience is important and that generally presidents who have been elected with little to no prior experience are terrible, I also believe that actions speak louder than words. While having minimal experience in the policy realm, she has made what she stands for known and publicly advocated for it time and time again. I have no issue casting a vote for the Greens. Oh, I have read up extensively on Gary Johnson and the Libertarian Party. I disagree with them on nearly every economic issue they stand for. However, there are likewise many things I agree with them on, and I believe Johnson/Weld would bring a cleanliness and leanness to government that I can also appreciate (while firmly believing a democratic socialist approach is better; I don't believe any single ideology should guide the country, but a mixture of many). You fundamentally misunderstand what the Bernie movement is about then, at least in the way I have viewed and taken part in it. It's about beginning the change and beginning to re-sculpt the American government - the beginning of the "revolution." It can't be done over night, and I was fully aware Bernie would have faced wall after wall in a hypothetical Sanders presidency when I cast my vote for him in California. With what little Obama has been able to get through a Congress in Republican hands, little is left to the imagination on what Bernie could've rammed through (very little; he would've gotten very little). But Bernie is a visionary, not a pragmatist, and I think him merely being in the Oval Office would have been extraordinary for this new left movement. The impact he had on the primary was already massive, but him in the White House for four years would've been even better. It isn't perhaps what he can do that has attracted me to him, but the vision and set of ideals that unwaveringly embodies that makes me wish he could've been president. My dislike for Hillary has definitely subsided over the past few months (and some of that is actually because of you), but it's still like I'm starving and Bernie is legit Italian and Hillary is Olive Garden. Like, Olive Garden's still gonna get the job done, but is it as tasty or exciting or satisfying as authentic Italian food? No.

Shadow 6,707
I actually respect Bernie for not catering to the hive mind. Democratic party leaders just seem they can't fathom why the world doesn't see them as brillant humanitarians and follow them like zombies... Just when you thought democracies prized the individual for thinking for themselves, a mind is a terrible thing to waste on the mob mentality that permenates in this country lately. Stand in the light, cast your shadow.
