apple wouldnt just buy so theres one less competitor especially if its a flop like you say. so theres obviously something tidal has that apple wants.probably bey, or lossless.

I wonder if they will change the service plans or the exclusives thing.  It's been kind of annoying not hearing the new releases because of them only being on Tidal (even though that was their purpose, so I would buy Tidal).  We shall see how it all plays out...

One positive thing about Apple Music exclusives is that they are usually also available for purchase on iTunes (even if there is a day or two delay between the Apple Music release and iTunes availability). So, if you don't have Apple Music, you could still purchase the album on iTunes, which promotes "true" album sales. That's what I like about Apple Music as opposed to Tidal as far as exclusive releases are concerned.

it's undeniably a flop, people don't care about it and won't miss it. What Apple needs though is Tidals connections for exclusives cause Apple could push exclusives much better than Tidal and in return attract a lot more customers.

Good riddance. After they ****ed up ANTi they need to go away and I'm sick of the exclusions at least when Apple has exclusions they put it on ITunes.
