being a biiiiiiit ungrateful of her fans.

Look before you drag me, heres my point:

Not everyone can be where she is and have these fans that actually give a ****. fine sometimes too much, but whats so bad about that? Whats with the serious tone? whats with the shutting fans out, ignoring requests...? feels like she feels above that, like she said she want to change fame culture. like the fan culture. but can she just write great ****ing songs? Focus all that attention and energy into making masterpieces that last a lifetime.

I remember my father once said he hates when an artist of any kind goes political and ignores their art, and I agree, be political in the art. dont mix politics with it cause politics isnt love. and art is love. Love and kindness is coming in a wave over this hell earth with or without gagas input, so stop acting like gagas saving the world with this speech. Whatever.

p.s.

Let people express their ideas. this place is so fascist,  i cant deal, and no im not leaving, i like you guys:D

Ignore her political side and focus on her art instead. She is free to do what she wants and it's our choice to follow what we want from her. Asking her to give that up is like asking her to give up a part of her, and that wont be fair. Stop the drama, and go buy ARTPOP (again, if you already did. One ARTPOP copy is never enough.

I don't mind her going political. But I can't help but notice that every time she does go political, some uninspired, confused, contradictory mess comes out. That's what bugs me.

Art is for expression though :duck: whether it's emotional, personal, political, or all of the above. Gaga's made plenty of political stances in her music (subject matter ranging from unfair laws to society's problems) so I don't think it's really that far of a stretch for her to also just casually be meeting with politicians/world leaders to discuss things like kindness, peace, unity, or anything else  I admire her for being so outspoken about it tbh.

I'm also not sure how not churning out music because we demand it is her being ungrateful too. She doesn't owe us anything and I'd say she's shown us plenty of appreciation over the years :flop: I'd rather her be sincere in what she does and happy doing things she can be proud of, even if it's not music. We all know more music will come eventually anyway so take @RubberHeartt's advice, buy several copies of ARTPOP, and chill out 'til we get another gift from mom :diane:

It comes out even when she isn't political. Not everyone is perfect 100% of the time and sometimes people forget the things they say, but that takes practice. Isn't the effort to make the world a better place, better than the semantics of what one says?

i just hate how everything she does feels like it goes unnoticed. She deserves all the ****ing credit for all the **** shes done.

it just annoys me that if someone like beyonce or nicki minaj :wtf: ever did 1% of what Gaga's done, they'd be praised to the heavens. Gaga deserves much more credit for everything.

Give us ahint  a real one. play with us. I was a fan because i felt connected to her. shes disconnected. and honestly I think she knows and is fixing it, but shes taking herself so serious and is basic and boring :(

Im hanging in cause I love her and know this is a stage like the jazz era

not asking her anything lolol. she doensnt even know I exist. but youre so right. I agree, just focus on her music.

But wouldnt it be nice to have an album for once where she wasnt so distracted???

You know, ABBA did nothing but stay home in the studio and write music. They didnt wanna go to the US and promote music because it took away from wrting.

Absolutely. But I just find it odd, since she was so well-spoken and "concentrated" before 2010. Anyway, of course her efforts are admirable for their impact, but on the other hand, so are everyone else's on their own level. I don't think Gaga deserves extra praise, you get what I'm saying? At the end of the day she hasn't done something remarkable in the last few years on that level. She called for a boycott for Russia, pretended Israel wasn't doing anything wrong, ignored LGBT+ struggles in Azerbaijan and promoted Hillary. And she chatted about kindness like a classy lady who could've been a random interviewer. If that wasn't predictable, it was also something that any celebrity could've done.

The only subject that was a big deal was the campus rape, but on the other hand, she didn't make that documentary, and barely made the song. So sure, she's helping lots of people indirectly, but I don't think it's right to paint her as some super political, super daring goddess compared to the sheepish other pop starlets just because of a speech about gay rights she made a million years ago.

I understand where you're coming from. I felt the same recently but kind of removed myself from stanning for a bit to diminish the neglect's impact

It'll all be worth it when those first hints drop though :excited2:

Different team pre Born This Way, which obviously they rehearsed everything with her as any good PR team would.

She doesn't deserve extra praise but I will still praise her. There is always a hodge podge of confusion with her, but her heart is in the right place and I will stick by that and hold her to that. She is an ally through and through, which she has made clear she is no longer "one of us" but "for us". She has only made a few speeches, did a few "political stunts" and supported us. Alot more than some but not alot more than others. She has a long way to go.

Her face was used for the Campus rape topic, she sang the song written by Dianne and helped with some lyrics here and there. But she said it herself she isn't a goddess from the sky to sing pop music, and she wants to do more. So she needs to educate herself and start doing more.

I do think we expect too much of our music idols as well though.

I have felt a serious tone too, but I think it's because what happened in Orlando. That is understandable. I feel the disconnect too, but maybe she doesn't know what to do you know? I mean doesn't seem like her music is done yet, and that's all fans want to talk to her about, so everything is in a weird place right now?
