There's full-fledged Trump supporters and conservatives on this forum that are against feminism and acknowledging POC LGBTQ obstacles. Thread's that involve Black LGBTQ members are usually paid dust/not cared about at all. I think people are, to a very tiny degree, vocal about femininity and feminism but that's it. When you have members openly say that they don't support LGBTQ BLM, it reflects on the forum and the pieces start to come together which is how some people, including myself, come to the conclusion that people are indeed racist on here and don't at all care about POC Gays unless they're sexy looking or cute.

 

I think you are still exaggerating.

The way our society discussed (or didn't discuss) race is different now then it was when this forum was created, our forum is just reflecting that change.

If this forum is leaning in any direction it is toward progressive liberal identity politics.

For every Trump supporter (for which there are perhaps two) there are dozens and dozens of liberal Hillary and Bernie supporters.

For any user who challenges the gender pay gap "myth" there are a dozen SJW's ready to refute them.

As for the BLM, most people take issue with their approach to activism not their actual message. Expressing a dislike for the Black Lives Matter movement and condemning their tactics isn't the same thing as expressing a dislike or hatred of POC.

I don't think I've ever once seen a member of this site claim their race was superior to another race, at worse I've seen xenophobic remarks and racially insensitive comments, but no out and out racism, certainly not "mass amounts" of racism.

I do support them though. BLM is an extremely important movement. And I mean, I'm Hispanic and live in a mostly Hispanic state, so I rarely see racism where I live. That's why I like BLM because it reminds me how racist our Country is to this date.

There's a time and a place for everything. If there was a black pride parade or something and some people were gay and made a big deal about it, I'd think they should've done it somewhere else.

There is no reason to burn bridges. You shouldn't protest at an event designed to apologize. It just makes you look bad and frustrates the people who are trying. These protesters are too stupid to realize that people don't like it when their apologies are greeted with contempt. It literally hurts their message.

Oh well. Let's just hope they protest at BLM rallies for LGBT rights.

I agree with everything you said but I'm just questioning this part here.

Once there's a certain discussion/topic that's discussed here, there's a handful of members that come in with their layered/racist undertones and backwards views with how things should be dealt with. A good example are some of the responses in this thread and the even more morbid responses in the other thread that deals with BLM.
