I didn't realize how much High School Musical slayed the Billboard charts  both the HSM & HSM 2 albums hit #1 on the Top 200 and were best selling albums of the year they were released. Breaking Free peaked at #4 on the Hot 100, the same as Applause  the albums for all of the movies have sold over 10 million copies total combined  High School Musical was even outselling Beyonce at that time
