Well those 350 million are now worth 120 million. The pound is at its lowest point in 30 years.

But we had to allocate 350 million it was a true figure we got a small amount back afterwards. The eu has run out of money, we were one of the main funders, i dont see the point of paying and bailing out all these countries, and then they don't even listen to us at the table. And also that only really affects all the rich people who invest in lots of shares not the majority of the middle class English public whose taxes have paid for this ridiculous scandal for decades!

Which fund a ton of EU projects in the UK as well, it's not like y'all loose that money and get nothing in return :neyde:

Now because you are leaving soon, all the other states will have to pay more for the EU just to compensate your exit. :neyde:

It is not Britains problem or fault. We as a country have contributed more than enough to the eu over the years and we've had a raw deal. We deserve to come out now have a bright future I'm sorry but Europe has to sort its crap out by itself for a change.

Thats because you have/had one of the biggest economies in the Union.

There are similar systems in the US and in Germany as well where the economically stronger states pay for the weaker ones so they don't drown in debt, can fund social services and things like that, whether they like it or not.

While I do understand your anger about the burocratic mess that the EU has become, you gotta admit that you have been granted a ton of exceptions and discounts over the years, so it's a bit of anger on both sides I guess.

Not really sure about your bright future, as this exit has basically killed a ton of chances for the youth, like moving and working freely anywhere in the EU or even simpler things like travelling. I'm sure there will be border controlls at the Euro Tunnel, essentially killing it's idea.

The banks in the City could leave for Frankfurt and/or Paris, and they make a big part of your economy.

And now Scotland wants a second referendum, and I'm sure there will be one as well in Northern Ireland.

So, yeah. This whole thing just sucks tbh.

this doesn't make sense.... the missing parts are the usual places that are empty due to low sales.... there would be people missing from the front circle too if it were due to traffic or manifestations.

I was talking about what you paid and got back. I was saying that the pound in your pocket is worth a lot less than it was worth yesterday. It might not impact you directly right now, but it does impact world trade in your country right now.

Let's take the money of the families that really need it to make London have a good exit cool! :derpga: jk

On topic: Really? , they paid for the concert. Let the go. Here we get the town blocked so many times so I don't really get mad at this. I prefer loosing the concert before loosing my job.

sorry if I came across as blunt because I do like Europe as a continent and I think all the cultures are great but I and a lot of people like me in the midlands in England have had enough of the EU. Most of the EU projects that you mentioned took place to benefit London and the south east mostly. So not us. I am part of the youth. I think we are just de scaling everything and getting rid of what I think was a messy system we can focus on trading more here and buying more of our own goods etc. Okay the economy might shrink but costs can be cut and we know who is making our decisions instead of the faceless people on the table in the eu that we haven't heard of. Sorry if I came across as rude. Its been an emotional few days for everyone here and my friends and I'm exhausted to be honest and was quite frustrated still sorry again

I can understand you're upset about all this

But I think the disadvantages of you leaving will hurt you more in the long run than maybe renegogiating the EU-UK contracts for example.

It's a shame really that it had to come this far :/

The EU had so long to renegotiate though and they kept delaying it. We'll just have to see what happens, hopefully everything is okay for everyone and in the end we all get what we want.

Not true at all lol, Wales and the North East benefited a lot from the EU and in fact it was the very places that were most dependent on EU funding that voted for a Brexit.

The Youth (18-24) category was the group most supportive of the EU, by an overwhelming 75%.
