So basically we've got Putin and Trump rushing to suck up to The "United" Kingdoms beehind.

The UK has been a dear friend of mine and suddenly they decided to dump us. I'm just telling you, UK, London and Scotland are *my* friends and you can't hang out with them anymore! You can have the racists and the populistic politicians. Goodbye.

What is the racist part of it?

You are aware that the referendum was not solely based on immigration? Immigration is part of it but there are other aspects such as wanting to be free to trade with the rest of the world, reinstating the sovereignty of Parliament and having the democratic ability to choose who governs our country.

It's also not at all racist to want to be able to filter immigration to not include those who simply want to come to the UK because of our lucrative and attractive benefits system.

Neither the leave nor the remain side have said that they want to end immigration completely.

Not to mention that immigration to the UK is comprised of several different races so to suggest that we are a country whom are racist towards all of those races is quite frankly, ludicrous.

Leading Brexit figures had disagreed throughout the campaign on issues including immigration, free movement and the cost of the UK’s EU membership.

But within hours of the result on Friday morning, the Ukip leader, Nigel Farage, had distanced himself from the claim that £350m of EU contributions could instead be spent on the NHS, while the Tory MEP Daniel Hannan said free movement could result in similar levels of immigration after Brexit.

The racist part is the people, they were confused with Leave supporters claims, and showed their uneducated and xenophobic part - can't you see it? So, leave campaign was SOLELY based on emotions and promises that can't be executed. Free trade with the rest of the world you say? As if UK wasn't able to before, huh. Price of trading to the rest of the world will remain as it is today, or will go even higher - for UK. Prices of trading to neighboring European countries WILL go higher, and prices of buying products from UK will go down in EU, it will be cheaper for EU. See, US wants Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership to be signed between US and EU, now that UK is leaving, you won't probably get this, too. 

"Reinstating the sovereignty of Parliament", so, you say your government is a puppet installed by someone outside? Come on, open your eyes, your country and its government AND people is amongst the most independent in the world.

Nigel Farage, who does not even hold a seat in our Parliament, has absolutely no power to enforce that policy and in fact, nobody on the leave side held significant power in the cabinet or houses. Therefore, if people were idiotic enough to believe the leader of an unelected party, with only one seat in Parliament, was able to enforce such power over fiscal matters, that is their problem.

The President of the USA is on record yesterday stating the importance of the USA-UK relationship. Regardless of the 'back of the queue' comment he made, he now seems to have changed his mind and is emphasising the importance of this relationship. Not to mention, he won't be president within a few months, so his policies are wholly irrelevant.

Regardless of how independent our country is, Parliament's sovereignty has been diminished by the position of the ECJ. So no I don't think the EU is a puppeteer, but that doesn't negate the fact that Parliamentary sovereignty has been diminished by the EU.

Your argument is all well and good but frankly has nothing to do with your original post, which accused a majority of the UK of being racist so my question to you was, why do you believe a decision to leave is racist? Can you not answer that?

Excuse me? Are you serious? If immigrants will pick the UK among others in the EU it's because of its language. Not the benefits system that are actually not the most generous in Europe. If that was the main reason most Eu citizen would migrate to France for example of Scandinavia. So no, job prospects yes but if you think that migrants come and sit on their ass waiting to get money from the UK you are fooling yourself because unless they contribute by working first they aren't entitled to anything and I say that as someone that used to work in the UK.
