If she truly thinks she is right then...sigh

imagine she had such passion for championing real and deserving causes. could've shown a bit more support for the LGBT community recently but that would've been getting her hands dirty.

Brutally honest I see  :stalkga:

I like Taylor's music but she needs to get her sh!t together.

She talks and talks about how bad streaming sites treat the artists but she doesn't have the cojones to actually fight the real problem which are the record labels.

The music industry is ****ed thanks to the executives who are in charge of record labels. They are the ones who choose which artists are good enough for the public and they are the ones who receive millions of dollars for basically nothing while artists struggle to release and sell their music.

She can pretend she is a fighter and a justice warrior but all she is is another pop star who makes millions for already rich people.

I would do the same thing. I understand Taylor Swift's boycott. Let's reduce more ways where people can listen to music for free even if it's thirty seconds. If I was an artist, I would do the same thing. Although, I thought what she and others asking for are doing the same thing that's already in place. Power to Taylor Swift. Let the parades of people on here who can afford other artist music, but gloat about illegal file sharing discontinue on this site unless it's Lady Gaga. I like the measurement she took up with Apple and now ITunes. People will continue to illegally listen to music, but why not make it harder and put more cash in your pockets. I stand by Swift. I'm glad she is using her platform for good. :icega:

Wait, what?

Next week, YouTube will "lose" and Taylor will now be the face of YouTube, like she did with Apple Music

Spoiler

Which I personally think it's fake and a set up. Apple bend over for Taylor easily but can say no to FBI? (Yes I know those are two different scenarios but still) :green:

Also, why does she care? She got so much money, and pretends like she's a start up artist.

With your power, you can really change the world, Taylor. But no, Apple Music and YouTube is worthy of your time :interestinga:

I fell down the stairs once as an actor.

She has shown her support for the LGBT and even local celebrities such as Kesha in the past. I would imagine she probably donated to the cause, but she doesn't put all her business out there when it comes to donations. She did the same thing as Gaga which was tweet and may not have just been able to speak in front of a crowd of gays for a vigil that takes a lot of strength. Support is support at the any of the day and gagadaily and others need to stop measuring it.

It is her job and she wants to be paid for craft, not people stealing her music. No one wants to work for free.

That doesn't make sense. You can literally preview 30 seconds of any song on iTunes for free before buying it. So your argument is unfounded.

Tl;dr

Taylor and other rich musicians want extra money because there's never enough $ to be made. I can't wait for Swift's stans to claim this is about her standing up for smaller artists or defending artist integrity (again...) when her prime focus is her wallet. :grr:

If it's unfair then why hasn't she deleted any of her vids on YouTube yet?

Was she this whiny to all her men? :koons:

She doesn't work for free. Far from it. She loses very little money from illegal downloading because most of it is made through endorsements, record deals, & concerts. Taylor Swift is upset because there's a tiny bit less change in her account. This is why Gaga has encouraged illegal downloading in the past! It doesn't really matter all that much unless you want to make things harder for fans just so you're a bit wealthier.
