This does, however seem like a 2-part issue. He shouldn't have been sold the gun, but also, where were his tragic parents? Besides, a bunch of citizens with the guns we're allowed to own? We have nothing on the U.S. Army assuming the majority of them don't just defect and refuse to work for that hypothetical oppressive government. I don't think that's something we have to realistically fear Paranoid, yes, but a paranoia that will work well for us in the long run. It's realistic as long as we still have mass amounts of the public uninterested in voting, and figures such as Trump easily winning nominations for presidency. We don't have anything on the US military, no, but a large chunk of the US military is pro-guns, so it stands to reason that they would fight against a government attempting to force the kool-aid down our throats. The majority of people support these regulations yet they aren't being implemented.
