It doesn't matter what he called the shooter, that was his whole point - if you had guns, none of this would happen. Father saying club should've had more security (to kill his son first), Trump saying if those "beautiful people" had a gun to shoot him to forehead "it would've been beautiful sight". He threw out hypotheticals like many people have done but didn't specifically blame them.... the terrorist's father did blame the club security. I'm thinking that's why CNN didn't mention that either. I mean "Trump blames victims for not being armed" would be way too exaggerated for the video in the OP. The reality is often far different than we think. I don't blame you for believing otherwise. Hollywood sensationalizes gun situations far too much. FBI study: 3% of shootings were stopped by "good guy with guns". Also simulations show that the "good guy with a gun" are more likely to kill other hostages, get killed by the shooters themselves, and even get killed by response teams because they sure as hell can't differentiate between the offenders and the defenders.
