Not saying that Alaska didn't deserve the win (we all know she's talented and did well throughout the competition), but the way everything was set up and handled proves my point. 

Changing the win the Katya would be undeserved. Alaska has been a fan favorite and high in every vote that happened throughout the season until last week. It was clear for the Production Team that Alaska would win after her amazing run and her high popularity on social media. 

Plus, it's a TV Show, obviously there are things happening to keep it interesting. I don't know why you think it is/was rigged for Alaska, she had the best run and it has always been the queen with the best run that won. (Also, she really killed the Challenges)

The main reason why I think that the show was rigged in Alaska's favor is the fact that she told her ex every little detail about the show and he ended up leaking a lot, which should have lead to Alaska's disqualification. Willam was disqualified for having sex with his husband while being on the show, Alaska tells her boyfriend the whole ranking, twists, and challenges and nothing is done.

However, there are also other instances where you could sense that Alaska was being favored. For instance during her second lip sync against Katya - they barely gave Katya any screen time, so that when Ru deems Alaska the winner no one blinks an eye (personally, I preferred Alaska's performance over Katya's anyway, but you can't deny that it was unfair when it aired). 

Also, I already said it a couple of times, but I will say it again - Alaska still did better overall, but the reason why most fans are upset about her win is (next to the show favoring her in the first place) that her personality isn't that of a winner. She doesn't seem like the right person to spread RuPaul's message of kindness, whereas others such as Detox, Alyssa, and Katya would have been brilliant representatives. They all embody the qualities that most people really appreciate. All three of them are professionals. The same can't be said about Alaska.

All in all,this season has been so weird yet so iconic at the same time!Alaska probably got the worst winner edit ever but hey at least she won lol.

Alaska 100% deserved her win but i kinda felt like Detox had the upper hand on the last couple of challenges including the final lipsync and rap challenge!

I wouldn't want them to repeat this kind of format because it leads to more death threats and anger from seething fans!I hope some people understand that it is just a show

Ru is never gonna listen. Polls are just here to give an illusion of audience participation for more traffic to their site.

Also the reunion was filmed two weeks ago before the fan vote was out and they decided on the winner before that.

I knew about the reunion, but I (and the majority of Drag Race fans) thought that they filmed the crowning with all three finalists? That makes the whole online participation even more useless.

Willam got himself disqualified, he purposefully broke the rules because he knew Sharon was gonna win after she was allowed to film her entrance twice. The conjugal visit was just a cover-up for the show. The producers tried to keep him around for longer and carry him to Top 3, but off camera he acted out against them because of this and the bad working conditions as well, such as Sharon not being given a vegetarian meal option and living off french fries dipped in Ranch dressing for 4 weeks, drug dealing producers (he mentioned him an Kenya Michaels sneaking out with a producer to smoke weed and finding pills in the work room, taking them on camera while filming, having a blackout for 14 hours and then waking up in his bed) producers sleeping with the contestants and open wires backstage everywhere.

Well they did film the crowning with three finalists, it's just that they decided upon who to crown two weeks ago, before the #TeamKatya social media fiasco happened. In a sense, the online participation is useless as f*ck, it just keeps people emotionally invested in the show. Which is good for ratings.

He's been talking about it on reddit frequently when the posters are dumb enough to f*ck with him. Also his book is due next week and he said he's gonna talk about everything because that's the day his NDA he signed expires.

This week he went on reddit and gave some more fun tea, such as Jiggly's balls popping out when she lip-synced to Born This Way and jumped into a split

I had a pretty good feeling that Alaska was going to win. The whole show didn't really do a good job hiding the fact that they favored Alaska. I like her and all, but when she had that tantrum the episode before it kind of turned me off from her . I didn't really believe for a second that the whole Relaxatox was over, because every time one of them were in the bottom they somehow were always saved. And I had a feeling if Ru was sending girls home Roxy would have been sent home a long ass time ago and wouldn't have been sliding by and ending up in the top 4. Lol

Overall I liked this season. I felt like sometimes I didn't agree with the judges choices on who was winning challenges and lip singing, but whatever. It's a show. Alaska won fair and square so I'm glad for her. I just wish her bratty tantrum didn't leave such a sour taste in my mouth.
