No difference in outcome. fivethirtyeight made a study that showed that Hillary would win in every possible permutation except all the contests being open caucuses, which doesn't say much since caucuses have marginal participation compared to primaries (like 4 times less).

Regarding debates, I don't see how any more would have made a difference. They were the same thing over and over again.

The rest of your post is more a problem with Bernie really. He didn't appeal to many voters outside the young demographic and did not appeal to minorities that much. He also did not bother with the South at all.

He honestly could have had a much more competitive race or even won if he had did more efforts to appeal to those who have issues other than economics on their mind.
