I want to blame the parents cause its 9:30 at night and that is a freaking 2 year old who basically finds everything curious.

I agree with the other people saying the toddler is most probably eaten. If you are dragged by an alligator into water the next thing to be afraid of is other gators trying to get a piece of you. :omg:

Some perspective:

1) 9:30pm at Disney is not "late", most of the parks are still open at this hour. Fireworks at the Magic Kingdom, which can be seen from the resort, are almost always at 10pm.

2) Disney also does a good job of scanning the natural waterways found across property for potentially dangerous alligators and removing them. The 47 square mile resort was build on a swamp in Florida. The odds of there being an alligator in the water is always 100%

3) Signs are posted all over property to stay out the water

4) This type of attack is very abnormal for alligators. Usually they don't just run up on shore and grab a child. They typically stay low and stalk their prey until they prey walks into them. It sounds like the latter is the case here. The child was wading in the water and the gator attacked.

Can't wait for Florida to flood within the next few hundred years.

Then their wildlife (sharks, gators, venomous snakes) will migrate to states nearby, New York for example :poot:

We've always had plenty of sharks here in NY! LI in 1980! Luckily most dangerous snakes and gators can't survive here though...
