Lets look at her and her husbands history shall we

Bill Clinton signed into law the Dont Ask Dont Tell policy which prevents LGB soldiers from revealing their sexuality openly while in combat, this act caused thousands of discharges for soldiers who bravely fought for our country.

Bill Clinton signed into law DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act) which strictly forbid same sex marriages in 49 states and allowed religion organizations to discriminate against Same Sex couples.

Bill Clinton said in an 1995 interview with Time Magazine that "homosexual marriage threatens the country and religious freedoms."

Hillary Clinton has said that she does not support same sex marriage. It wasnt until she ran for president that she "evolved" on the issue.

Hillary Clinton has accepted substantial money donations from countries that support that death penalty and criminal punishment for homosexuals.

Do not buy into this fraud

Bill Clinton =/= Hillary Clinton

I will agree there are questionable actions she's taken, but it's ridiculous to use her husband's policies against her.

I don't like Hilary. But she developes with the country. She represents what most Americans want.  Back then America wasn't for the gays, now America is so now Hilary is.  And that's what the president should be. They should represent what Americans wants.

I think that's kind of a terrible way to think lol we should have a president who wants to change the country for the better and look forward to the future

I'm also getting tired of gays who feel the need to drag her to hell for this. Why is the concept that people's opinions on LGBT issues CAN and DO change over time so goddamn hard to grasp? We have just endured the most horrific hate crime on our people EVER and you want to have this tired conversation again? Why don't you start attacking the people who are actually a threat to us? Give me a freaking break :saladga:

This has been beaten to death... I used to argue what you're arguing. But the fact remains that she changed her mind, and literally spoke as an ally days ago in the wake of Orlando.

Shes not a monster. She was a product of her conservative time who has changed. My parents are around her age and have grown similarly. Can't hold it against her forever if her compass is straight now.

I care more about whether or not she prevents the end of the world than her damn past with the LGBT community.

Also, past performance does not predict future results.

The past is in the past. She is the lesser of two evils. You ain't getting Bernie.

Also, being pro LGBT back in the day was a political career suicide, there were ideologies that you just couldnt support

Literally being pro LGBT was controversial in the 2000s cause people still were not ready to embrace us

I mean this is 2016, I don't think what she said in the 90's towards the LGBT community is really relevant. It was a different time. Sure we would like her to be 'pure' in her advocacy from day one, but I don't think it helps us to spend our days focused on this stuff.

People can change. Granted, she should have supported us from the very beginning.
