My point isn't that all violent people are Muslim. What when you have a code of conduct, Sharia Law, that Muslims live their lives by, and within that code it says that all gay people deserve to be executed for being gay, and you have the largest and most powerful Muslim countries/Muslim world actually adopting those policies, it's not wonder why things like this happen.

When people say Islam is a religion of peace, it really confuses me. Look at any nation where the majority of people are Muslim. These nations are by FAR the largest violator of human rights, and they have some of the most draconian cultures on the face of this earth. It's rare to come across a Muslim nation that doesn't imprison, torture, and/or execute its gay citizens because THAT is what the Quran tells them to do. 

What about Christianity and the Bible? I mean, I'm Catholic but there are some things in the Bible, and some things that are "law", that I disagree with. For one, I identify with the LGBTQ+ community, but I certainly don't think we're "abominations". I'm not knowledgeable when it comes to Islam and its practices, but by that logic you could apply that to Christianity. Just because there are some things that are just plain overkill in the Bible and Christian law doesn't mean I should say "it's no wonder why things like this happen." if a Christian goes and shoots up a bunch of people who practice Hinduism because the Bible says that we should only have one God.

To point out the man in LA, he was absolutely going to harm people if not for him being caught. You wouldn't bring explosives and assault rifles for no reason, would you? He had a motive, and he had a plan, to ask if he harmed anyone doesn't make any sense, he would've if he wasn't caught.

Except the New Testament tells people to basically forget what the Old Testament says, particularly Leviticus where God sends down Levitican Law (also the book in which homosexuality is forbidden).

Irrespective of that, most modern Muslims actually are in favor of instilling Sharia Law, a system of oppression that calls for the execution of gays and suppression of women. How, if most Muslims are in favor of that, can Islam be a religion of peace? Most Muslims exploit the negative ideologies. Just look at ANY Muslim majority country. They are almost all draconian civilizations.

I think it would've made it easier for the FBI to catch someone like him. Being a lone wolf supporting IS is much easier when you can do everything yourself. In Europe it's much easier to catch terrorists beforehands, because they are all connected to eachother. And that's even though Europe has way bigger privacy protection rules. 

 

Back to my main point, people can't buy the guns themselves in a shop, they have their gun dealer for that. As soon as they catch one IS terrorist, they catch the gun dealer and everybody in his phone. That means that they catch a whole network of criminals. In the US you might catch one friend, but not a whole network.
