So it hits closer to home, making it it a more sensitive thing, you know? Yeah but I don't like both arguments.. When the terror attacks in my country (Belgium) happened a few months ago, all the tv shows were replaced by extra news, news , news , news.. You know, it was very frustrating for us people, because when you live in sadness you want to see something else than again the whole info, you saw 100000x times... I know this isn't really the same, but I hate it when they cancel things out of respect, there are other ways to respect the people, and this isn't going to make it any better, it even frustrates more people.. And I think all of us have a deep respect for the victims and their families and we all live with them, but we shouldn't give in to the guy who did this.. Just my opinion (and sorry for the bad english) Still love ya guys
RandomMonster99 29
Wise decision.. It'd be hard for me too, socialising and talking about something other than what happened, even though I love Horror Story.. I'm sure they'll reschedule it soon! MJHolland 12,725
I wonder if the next theme hits too close to home to the actual atrocity. I know some TV shows that deal with real life events like The West Wing cancelled episodes and have had to re-write subplots to avoid hitting too close to home to real life tragedies. That makes sense. It just seems a bit bizarre that they would cancel an event where nobody (as far as I know) is related to anyone who was affected by the tragedy. I understand being respectful, but the world shouldn't just stop. I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!

socotra 3,310
At the risk of sounding insensitive, I've never been in favor of cancelling or moving events in the face of terror attacks. The goal of those who carry out these attacks is to disturb a community's way of life, and I think cancelling events or moving events etc. just feeds into that. Phlop 4,773
I think they just didn't want to detract from the tragedy. People need to realize we have a gun problem. BYE

JAMES1993 190
Ryan Murphy is gay in case noone knew this, alot of the cast memebers and crew members are gay as well. And it would be senseless to continue an event for a show that us fellow gays watch, I can assure you the majority of viewers for AHS are apart of the LGBT community. I think they would get tons of backlash for continuing an event, and not speaking out about this tragedy. I saw people starting to hate on Gaga because she didnt speak out as soon as it happened, I bet those who did felt like a **** when she made that speech. That speech made me tear up. Im sure they even stop filming Season 6 for a couple days because of this. The event will happen, once everyone has grieved and paid their respects. Most likely next month.
