A man's Facebook comment that he would like to"open fire", made in response to a post on foreign sponsorship of a recent gay rally in Singapore, has caught the attention of the community on Monday (June 13).

Police reports have been made regarding the comment by a Bryan Lim that read: "I am a Singaporean citizen. I am a NSman. I am a father. And I swore to protect my nation.

"Give me the permission to open fire. I would like to see these £@€$^*s die for their causes."

The hate site he commented on: https://www.facebook.com/groups/waapd/permalink/1037213022982161/

I love how the admin told them to read the rules of engagement because they do not condone hate :flop: Like that page is literally a hate page :flop: They are fostering this kind of behavior :flop:

What is going on with the world!? I honestly cannot anymore. This is too much!!

Our world is full of people who hate themselves, and that hate pours out back  into the world generating even more hate. This vicious cycle will only stop when people learn how to love themselves.

LOL as if, they will catch you before it happen. Their citizen can't even post a critical comments about their past leader without getting jailed lmao. He is crazy if he thinks that he can get a pass. They better deal with the money lender mafia that been terrorising their own people first.

What a joke. He's just talking big on social media, nothing to feel threatened about. But still, glad to see most people criticizing his views and even the local news calling him out on it. Great to see a general positive change in Singaporean's mentality towards the LGBT issue.

Unfortunately, while there does seem to be a change in the nation's mentality towards the LGBT community, there is an equal, if not stronger opposition.

My blood boils every time I read that Facebook page. Tried reporting it to Facebook for being a hate page but was told it does not violate and regulations *shrugs*

I am. I saw lots of news about it.

Sometimes I read SG urban legends too, like haunted lots on Bishan and Bedok housings. Or Changi hospital. :wtf: But since I am not local, I am not sure if those are actual stories known by the residents. :D

LOL I never expected anyone else to care about our horror stories... :toofunny: My school is in Bishan and I've also heard plenty of ghost stories about it. I'm atheist so I'm not that superstitious though.
