Being an artist who's fans are mostly gays, I would consider giving them a shoutout before advocating who's running for president. I doubt people will even think about who's running than praying or wishing the best for the victims and their family. But that's just me.

That's ridiculous to think that what gay people need at this time is a "shout out" rather than some freaking movement or change. I guess Gaga isn't one for just writing up "shout outs" whenever there's a shooting - how incredibly empty and useless. She probably thinks a call to action is more important and that's why I don't think she made a mistake with her first tweet.

I'm pretty sure people need comfort than promoting the next potus the next second.

Well she deleted her frist tweet because she knows it was a wrong move and backtracked it with this one after reading the thread here.

Lord Temptation

The amount of hate Gaga gets on this site is DISGUSTING at the best of times.

But this...

In a moment of such profound sorrow like today, the temerity of any of you to denounce Gaga because you think she stated her support for a leader (who advocates stricter gun control) at the wrong time?

Get off your high horse.

You're worse than Gaga by far.

I should let her what? I strongly dislike Hillary and said before that what she did was wrong. But people here act like she is an industry sell out. That's too ****ing much

I dislike hillary but it has nothing to do with that. People need to stop staning to the point they will deffend anything. Im completly against deleting this threat in order to protect her from her own fans after she said what she said, Thats all im going to say

So the whole scandal is just about her promoting Hillary in a tweet (I didn't find this shocking, it was beautiful, maybe a bit clumsy but I get the intention and the urge), and tweeting several times without mentioning the LGBT community ? Seriously, grow up. I thought this fanbase was smarter.

No one is pissed at her for tweeting about gun control. It is NEVER a bad time to talk about that. What pisses me off is she had the aducaticty to use this attack to campaign for Hillary Clinton. Who in their right goddamn mind immediately jumps on this and thinks "oh, let me remind everyone to vote for her never mind the fact fifty people were just massacred" It's insensitive. Yes she's human yes she can make mistakes but she needs to take a fcking moment examine this gross action. I don't know if I'll ever see her the same way anymore

Overracting? This act of terror happened minutes from where I live. I know people who were directly affected my this tragedy and you have the nerve to tell me to stop overreacting? What a joke. I can be disappointed that Gaga, a supposed advocate for us let me down by using this event to advance her own agenda. It's repulsing and I hope she's learned her lesson. Have a nice day
