It's important for celebrities to use their platform to advocate for what they believe in. Despite how many celebrities like to send their condolences on twitter, it's not the best or most heartfelt place to express your condolences to victims of gun violence. It's an empty act to repeat the same words over and over again every time theres a shooting. Being an artist who's fans are mostly gays, I would consider giving them a shoutout before advocating who's running for president. I doubt people will even think about who's running than praying or wishing the best for the victims and their family. But that's just me.
