Bear 7,515 Posted June 12, 2016 Share Posted June 12, 2016 I think it was reckless and cheap to try and capitalize on this and endorse Hillary, but I don't think it's inappropriate to talk about gun control. The same cycle of events like this keeps happening and needs to be broken; it starts with the shooting, and then a great sense of solidarity from around the world but little action being done in the right places to prevent it happening again. After a few weeks people forget about it and the whole talks about gun control plateau off again, and we are not further on with achieving anything. So I guess what I'm trying to say is while I don't think there should be a problem with talking about gun control, asking people to vote into a full political campaign is disrespectful right now- a mistake Gaga seems to have acknowledged by deleting it.
