Cause people went out went out and bought. Half of the those albums the majority of board alone got illegally. It's not brain science. The genre of music Lana does music generally still buy the music. However, if we lived back in about a decade ago we wouldn't be having this conversation.

She is an album artist, and so people buy her albums. She is not a singles artist like pop acts are.

Her music ages better as well. I mean, if you like the songs, it's going to age well, but Lana tends have this ageless placelessness in her music that kind helps it stand out and be excellent as it is.
