I think it's a very interesting thought. But this is not the time nor place to have this discussion.

Yeah I know, I don't wanna start a religion debate here. I just was triggered by the post reading more about religion than Christina herself.

She just died, and immediately they go to God. It's so sad to see, because she literally died. One of the worst things that can happen and they are changing that moment with some fairytale. It's frustrating seeing people have these thoughts. Thinking they will once see her again in heaven, etc, ... :duck:

Besides 'pray for her family', what's that gonna do? Praying is gonna change nothing. They should grieve and mourn, instead they ask for prayers. It's sad how God has such a huge influence on dealing with someone's death. God doesn't even exist and yet they play such a part in the mourning process. :duck:

I feel the same way as you do, I don't believe God or heaven exists. But more importantly, they do. Now is not the time to even question their beliefs, as I said before it may be the only thing that comforts them.

Poor girl, I remember my class used to watch her covers like Party In The USA years ago. My condolences to her family and friends

Let people have their own interpretations of how they see life and the universe.

I mean, I think about why I am in this shell of a body, living on a rotating ball of rock that spins around and is heated by a bigger spinning ball of gas, and the fact that I in this lifetime am just a speck in span of humanity, and humanity is not even a blimp on the radar of the entire universe, and I understand why people have so many varied views on life and the afterlife. Even the idea that 5000 years from now, they'll laugh at most of the things we believed in, and then 10000 years from now, they'll laugh at a lot of the things the people that would be laughing at us believed in.

So because people have their own beliefs tou have to judge them? It is a belief, people find confort in that. And if that makes them feel better whats the problem? Seriosly, your comments are really unnecessary here and I wish mods delete them. You don't want to start a debate but you wrote these comments. Please, go away

You can reply to me or not, not gonna answer a such closed minded "person"

May that girl rest in peace

I simply can't understand how it's possible to just TAKE AWAY someone's life for no reason, no warning, no prevention whatsoever. It's just bizarre to me how much in control one can have of another stranger's life. America honestly on behalf of the world, please do something with your gun laws because it's sickening even as an outsider.

I'm not closeminded haha, it just bugged me. :) People can feel free to practice whatever religion they want, but it's sad when they think more about religion than the person itself. That's my cup of tea. Same like I would never post on social media about a dead friend/family member. When people do that, I will judge them, but I won't stop them. If that makes me closeminded for you, that's okay, because I know myself better than anyone. I'm sure you judge other people's actions too, so that makes us equal? At the end everyone may do what they please as long as they're not hurting anyone. This is a forum, not the Facebook of that family member, if it was I would just keep it shut and let him mourn however he wants to be. Anyway, I have an opinion regarding this, and it's just not the right place to discuss, which I agree, so let's end it here. ;)

I don't know what I'd do if it were my sister. Don't even want to think about it. Let me call her real quick :diane:

RIP. I didn't know her but she has a beautiful voice.

What a crazy world we live in... Poor girl.

It makes me worried for other singers. To think they could die because of an idiot :wtf:

THIS IS SO HORRIBLE!! :(

Honestly the security in some of those small theaters is awful. Most arenas and stadiums do a thorough check of bags and have people step through a metal detector before entering the venue. But small theaters barely do anything. I've seen Marina many times at small venues and they spent literally 2 seconds looking in my bag. And no pat down or anything. Someone could EASILY sneak a gun in. And not to mention that lesser known artists don't have any security when meeting fans outside after shows.....
