For me "Gaga' is the artist, so is Stefani, shes one person, shes an artist, she is Stefani, but her image is Gaga, shes a popstar, every popstar creates her image, and so did Gaga/Stefani, of course the "Gaga" image helped her being more secure and strong, thats why she feel so much stonger than the beginning, shes more mature now, and we all can see that
