Frankenztein 1,172 Posted June 5, 2016 Share Posted June 5, 2016 I enjoy this album very much. It's Gaga's weakest album, but even Gaga's weakest is miles better than many other artists work. I really understand the pain through the upbeat pop that's laced in this record. The dark corners covered in candy wrappers she explored is something that speaks to me.The album just makes sense to me I guess. And yes the AMA performance in the OP slays my life. ARTPOP will forever be in my heart. and it's an album that ages so ****ing beautifully. It's one of my fave albums for life. And the fashion, the performances and the art of this era broke through everything she had done before, it's the era when she shocked me the most not only because of the clothes but the whole essence of the era and its overambition in contrast to its underachieving is something SO ARTISTIC which not everybody gets. you have to reach VERY MUCH further to grasp the meaning of Artistic Revolution Through the Potential of Pop.
