Carly does not deserve to be a one hit wonder.

Emotion should have smashed if it was given the right treatment. It is a pop masterpiece.

Carly and Gotye are so responsible for the one hit wonder trend that surfaced ever since 2012 and is still going stronger than ever today

before 2012 , I'd say 80% of the time a well-renowned artist was occupying the number one spot on Billboard

Why has nobody voted for Gotye, he didn't even have a successful song after "Somebody That I Used to Know" and hasn't released another album since.

Carly had decent success with "I Really Like You"

Team did good enough and while not a hit, there was a point where every ****ing trailer used her "Everybody Wants To Rule World" cover.

Baauer by far. His song became viral and a phenomenon online but he suddenly disappeared after that. I never listen to Carly Rae but I still see people talk about her or her new music. Robin Thicke has also released music before, he's not a new artist (And btw, just because he has other singles that didn't top the chart, doesn't mean they're not hits. Britney's Im A Slave 4 U peaked at #27 in the US and it's one of her most remembered songs).

Mark Ronson should also not be on that list, he's had a very successful career, not just about Uptown Funk btw. Gotye won a Grammy and I think they still have moderate success. PSY released Gentleman and it was very successful, he actually released that song because he didn't want to be a one hit wonder. I don't know who the last four are.
